
Challenges Dra ma
Drama challenges are created for children and teenagers between 5 and 18 years and are intended to expand the effect of dramatic arts in their lives after the introductory workshops that the Drama Association supports in schools and high schools in Romania and Romanian communities in the Diaspora. They also support their interest in literature, art, technology, movies. Contests and their prizes are created in such a way that any skills, resources, interests can be included.
The monologue and short scene challenge is an annual challenge where participants between the ages of 5 and 18 can perform or write a monologue, as well as write or stage a skit.
*In their play, children have been role-playing since the world began, why not put them on camera and enter them in our challenge?
The texts can be taken from other works or they can be their own creations, but they must contain the themes of the 2023 contest. They can be recorded both with a video camera and with a smart phone.
Dra.ma members will judge the submissions according to the following criteria:
Originality in writing and interpretation,
Creativity in interpretation,
Innovation in the use of already existing resources.
There will be 4 age categories:
5-7 years, 8-11 years, 12-15 years, 16-18 years. Any skill and experience is encouraged and welcome.
The short film challenge is an annual challenge, where participants between the ages of 10 and 18 can enter short films shot either with a camera or phone or original scripts or adapted from an existing text, in Romanian or English butmust contain the themes of the 2023 contest.
*Almost anyone with a phone can make a movie these days they don't have to be perfect, it's the practice that counts. For the script, think about the story,technique comes by doing!
Dra.ma members will judge the submissions according to the following criteria - teamwork, ingenuity, originality and creativity.
